CUSTOMER INFORMATION

As a Customer you are bound by the below Terms and Conditions and any purchases of products from the website kinnellandposch.co.nz constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions. Please take time to review our Terms and Conditions.

PRICING

All prices on our website are in NZ dollars and include GST. Prices are subject to change.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Kinnell & Posch Gift Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of issue and may be used as full or part payment for any goods purchased from Kinnell & Posch.

The funds on the Gift Voucher cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to amend or terminate the Gift Voucher scheme with not less than three months prior written notice. We will highlight any amendments or discontinuation on our website and via our newsletter.

ORDERING

Kinnell & Posch accepts orders by telephone or email. Select items can be purchased directly from our online store.

PAYMENT

We accept payment via bank transfer and credit card.  Please note, all credit card payments incur a 2% surcharge.

A 50% deposit is required before cushion orders can be processed and the balance of payment is required to be paid in full before an order can be dispatched from our warehouse facility.

When a deposit is received by Kinnell & Posch relating to your purchase, the order becomes immediately binding and you become liable to pay the balance of the price for the purchase.

When paying a deposit, you acknowledge and agree that you are satisfied that the items meet your requirements and are suitable and sufficient for your intended use.

SHIPPING

Kinnell & Posch delivers nationwide.

Our carriers follow strict Covid safety protocols when delivering furniture.

If your furniture arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 2 working days following receipt of delivery and we will assist you with our returns policy and process. 

Offshore delivery can be arranged. Please contact us regarding delivery outside of New Zealand.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs vary depending on the size of your order and where your order is being delivered to. Due to the global supply shock caused by the impact of Covid-19, shipping costs can change in the time between quoting on shipping and actual delivery.

We use a range of carriers to ensure costs remain relatively competitive, offering the best possible value to our customers.

All our carriers are reputable, well established operators, all of which specialise in furniture delivery.

Delivery time

For items which are in stock where cushions are not required, dispatch happens immediately upon receipt of payment in full. Such orders are usually delivered within the next working day for the Auckland area, and within 7 working days for anywhere else in New Zealand.

Where the manufacturing of cushions is required, standard delivery time is 3-4 weeks anywhere in New Zealand.

Delays

Kinnell & Posch will not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations including where any delay is caused by factors beyond Kinnell & Posch's reasonable control.

Tracking
 

When orders are dispatched from our warehouse facility in Auckland, customers are sent a dispatch confirmation notification which contains a unique tracking number and tracking URL. Customers can use these to trace their deliveries.

Free shipping offers

Kinnell & Posch runs free shipping promotions. All free shipping promotions apply to mainland New Zealand only and to non-sale items only.

ASSEMBLY

Most of our items require assembly. We recommend items to be shipped flat-packed to mitigate the risk of damage while being shipped to you. Follow the simple assembly instructions and if necessary, our professional team can help you so you can be sure that your new item is assembled correctly.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS

If the item is faulty, not of acceptable quality or does not perform the function for which it is designed, Kinnell & Posch Limited will meet its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. 

However, we do request the right for our team to first assess your product before any resolution can be considered. Please contact info@kinnellandposch.co.nz  to forward all relevant information and photos which will allow us to decide on the best course of action to deal with your claim.

Kinnell & Posch Limited is not obliged to accept the returns or offer a resolution for any products deemed to have been damaged through misuse or if the damage is a result of normal wear and tear. 

KINNELL & POSCH 2-YEAR FURNITURE WARRANTY*

Kinnell & Posch Limited offers a 2-year warranty for any manufacturing defects discovered in any teak products and assembly hardware and will replace or repair such defects for a period up to 2-years.

All timber used in Kinnell & Posch Limited’s products has been kiln-dried prior to the manufacturing process. The benefit of kiln-dried timber is that it is dried in a controlled environment resulting in a higher quality end product which is unlikely to warp or bow.

*Kinnell & Posch reserves the right to make alterations to its products in the rare event when extreme supply shocks threaten to delay the delivery of an item beyond what is recognised as an acceptable time-frame. 

SUNBRELLA® 5-YEAR FABRIC WARRANTY*

Kinnell & Posch Limited only uses Sunbrella® fabric on its cushion systems which comes with a 5-year limited fabric warranty to offer protection against colour fading from normal usage and exposure conditions.

*Kinnell & Posch reserves the right to use alternatives to Sunbrella® in the rare event when extreme supply shocks threaten to delay the delivery of an item beyond what is recognised as an acceptable time-frame. In such circumstances, the 5-year limited fabric warranty to offer protection against colour fading from normal usage and exposure conditions, still applies. 

EXCLUSIONS

Our warranties commence from the date of original purchase and are subject to the following exclusions:

  • Because timber is a natural material which varies in colour and grain orientation, it will weather when exposed to the elements. Checks, splits, cracks and colour change are all natural weathering processes, are to be expected and are not covered by warranty;
  • Where natural materials are used in manufacturing, minor variations will occur from piece to piece and such variations as a result of the nature of the goods are not considered defects under the warranty;
  • Defects or damage resulting from negligence, abuse or misuse, including (but not limited to) inadequate or improper care, maintenance, freeze damage, chemicals (including sunscreen), bird droppings, accidents or any use for which the product was not designed nor does it cover improper assembly and installation;
  •  After sale care products used on our products by our customers renders the warranty null void;
  • The warranty does not cover any products sold or exchanged ex-showroom, products damaged in transportation or furniture used in commercial or non-residential use;
  • Foam and fillings used in our cushions will soften and change shape over time.

PRIVACY

The information we collect from you when you make an enquiry from our online store are your name, email address and phone number. Will will store your personal information for re marketing purposes only. We will never share your personal information with a third party. Your orders/deliveries information will be saved.
